It is with great sadness in my heart that I must announce that Filip Gille is not with us anymore. He sought medical help in August and then they discovered cancer. In November he passed away, such a rapid progression of the disease makes it even worse. At this moment we think of Eva and their four children with families. Filip is remembered fondly. Kind regards, Jan Leisdal

The beautiful Fontana di Trevi, hidden by a group of tourists Organnized by Marco Jacobbi and with support from above (we think so because of the nice weather). This anniversary meeting, the twenty-fifth time, took place in Rome, Italy. This time there were 22 of us registered, unfortunately Felix & Bernadette were forced to cancel in the last minute due to Felix´s back surgery. Anyway the number of participants were…

Organized by Mike Roberts and with the support of Karol, NoMe 2024 took place in Cork, Ireland. We were only a small group of 14, but that didn’t dampen the spirits. As usual, Friday was sightseeing day. In the morning, we took the train to Cobh, where a historian told us all about the fate of the Titanic. Back in Cork, a guide was waiting for us to tour our…

NoMe 2023 is history and I think that at least the event in the cathedral will go down in NoMe history. Which Tabler can say that he sang our La La Song in a cathedral accompanied by a master on the organ? I would like to thank all participants for coming and wish everyone who could not be there for health reasons a speedy recovery. Hopefully we’ll see each other…

Dear NoMe Members, I don’t have to give you bad news, you can follow it in the media every day. So I have good news for you. The triumvirate of Vaho, John and I have agreed that NoMe 2023 should take place…

Dear NoMe Members The survey with you has clearly shown that, given the current situation, many people do not feel like having a meeting. The number of those who gave a clear“ yes“ to the meeting is too small to push the organization further. We (Vaho, John, Felix) have therefore decided to create clear conditions and also to cancel the 2022 meeting. We very much regret this, but there is…

Dear NoMe members We’re past COVID and it’s time to start thinking about our meeting this year. To help plan ahead, I’d like to start the following poll: From today’s perspective, do you intend to take part in the NoMe program from August 18th to 21st? If so, with how many people? From today’s perspective, do you intend to take part in the pre tour from August 14th to 18th?…

Dear NoMe friends! I believe that all of us have very mixed feelings about present covid and travel situation. Although it seems to be under control at present, there are signs that new covid variations are picking up in many countries and by August we can face restrictions coming back – especially when people start moving around during Summer holidays and feeling of freedom makes many to loose caution. Nobody…

Dear friends, Big shock to hear about Michaels death. We had quite long chat late Summer last year, he was very much willing to join us for NoMe. Very very sorry. Concerning covid situation in Estonia at the moment, it’s getting pretty critical these weeks – we have 2nd highest infection numbers in EU (14 day average 1153 per 100,000 population) and it seems to get worse during next 2-3…
